Refunds
14 days, in full, with no questions asked. One email is all it takes.
Last updated 3 September 2026.
The policy
Ask within 14 days of your first charge and we refund it in full. A yearly plan gets the same 14 days after each renewal, because a year is a long time to be reminded by an invoice you were not expecting.
We do not ask why, and there is nothing to fill in. A monthly renewal is not refunded on its own, because cancelling stops the next one, and the free trial plus these 14 days already cover deciding whether the product is for you.
How to ask
Write to hello@commongroundapp.io from the address on the account, or reply to any email CommonGround sends you, and say you want a refund. We do it as soon as we read it, and Stripe returns the money to the card you paid with. Banks usually take a few days to show it.
What happens after
The subscription ends. The wiki does not: it stays readable for everyone in it, search keeps working, the local folders keep syncing down, and the full history stays intact. What pauses is publishing changes and inviting new people. Nothing is deleted, and you can clone the git repository and take it with you at any time.
Come back later and you subscribe again from the Billing section. There is no second free trial, but the wiki is exactly where you left it.
If you are a consumer in the EU
You have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. This policy gives you at least that, on the same terms and with less paperwork: an email is enough, and there is no form to complete. Your statutory rights stand whatever else this page or our terms say.
